The aim of the present study was to evaluate antidiabetic activity ethanol extract leaves Flax plant (Linum usitatissimum) in streptozotocin (STZ) induced diabetic rats. Ethanol Linum usitatissimum (EELL) or glibenclamide administered rats orally daily for 28 days. Blood glucose levels at weekly interval and on 29th day, serum biochemical parameters were carried out its effect glucose, creatinine, BUN, AST ALT significantly increased STZ as compared vehicle control After days administration EELL showed significant decrease above results suggest that clearly demonstrated an experimental model
